Weekend Classes

There is one question that comes up often when people (parents, scientists, mentors…) visit our school: “Can I come take classes here?”

Well, now you can! Welcome to our first set of weekend classes at Acera, some of which are designed for both adults and children.

As always, kids can join us for a class in Physics of Projectiles or Imaginative Architecture, for example — but now parents can also join their daughter or son in a wood shop class to build a treasure chest together. Adults can try out food hacks in the SEEDS StudioLab, and experiment with computational cooking and edible origami. Or they can design and pour their own creations in Metal Casting.

Check out our first selection of fun STEAM weekend offerings for students and their parents — or really, anyone over the age of 6 who wants to tinker, experiment and never stop learning.
